Innovation And Design Process
Zoetica brought numerous innovations and original approaches to the challenge of creating a luxurious high-end facility while maintaining sustainability. For example:
- A special reservoir will be built to collect the wastewater that has passed through the Wellness Filters. (Water is flushed through every 3 - 5 days and, uncollected would simply be eliminated into the sewer system.) This will be used for indoor and outdoor landscaping.
- The use of a large area (1,000 sq. feet ) of indoor space is dedicated to planting vegetation known for its ability to clean the air, and improve the moisture and oxygen content.
- The use of computerized technologies that will allow Zoetica to automate multiple systems by zone and by need, will result in significant energy savings and enhanced client comfort.
- Custom made (FSC wood) veneer†and glass panels will be installed to cover the store front’s aluminum frame (75' length) and prevent excessive heat loss. (Aluminum is well known to be the best conductor of cold air.)
- There will be “Automatic Demand Switches” installed, to prevent unnecessary energy waste through the energy leakage from electrical equipment that is plugged into an outlet but is not being used. However, the most significant reason for using these switches is to prevent elevated EMP in the area.
- SPECIAL emphasis will be placed on EMP (electro magnetic pollution). Dr Lilly is very aware of the highly damaging effects of electromagnetic pollution and radiation. Besides Automatic Demand Switches, special Stetzer Filters will be installed in treatment rooms, to reduce 'dirty electricity" (electromagnetic energy damaging to health) and to prevent electromagnetic sensitivity.
- Customized skincare treatments, using only USDA/ Organic fresh produce, will be designed and formulated according to an individuals specific requirements assessed by specialized metabolic typing besides other means.
- The use of internet based technologies for phone systems will allow employees (receptionists) to work from home, eliminating unnecessary commuting saving energy.
- Zoetica is committed to carpooling practices for it's employees, to minimize it's carbon foot print.
